Community Centers
At the Newhall or the Canyon Country Community Centers, you may tutor students during after-school programs or homework help, instruct classes, or assist City staff at events.
Libraries
Teen (14 years and older) and adult volunteers help with a variety of services in the Valencia, Canyon Country, and Old Town Newhall Libraries, including organizing, shelving, and displaying materials, assisting with programs and special projects, among others. Outreach
Make a difference in your community! Afterschool homework-helpers are needed year-round. Other opportunities include helping with community festivals, English as a Second Language classes, teen events and other programs for youth and families. Santa Clarita Emergency Communications Team (SCECT)
Comprised of licensed, volunteer, amateur radio operators that offer their time, talents and equipment by supplying emergency communications to the City of Santa Clarita, and partnering agencies. Youth Sports
Volunteer to be either a coach, assistant coach, scorekeeper, or other positions for Youth Sports’ seasonal programs.
