City Hall and City Offices
</p> <hr/> <p>As a volunteer at City Hall or other City facilities, you may assist a specific department with mailings, filing, clerical tasks, and special projects.
Community Centers
</p> <hr/> <p>At the Newhall or the Canyon Country Community Centers, you may tutor students during after-school programs or homework help, instruct classes, or assist City staff at events.
Libraries
</p> <hr/> <p>Teen (14 years and older) and adult volunteers help with a variety of services in the Valencia, Canyon Country, and Old Town Newhall Libraries, including organizing, shelving, and displaying materials, assisting with programs and special projects, among others. Outreach
</p> <hr/> <p>Make a difference in your community! Afterschool homework-helpers are needed year-round. Other opportunities include helping with community festivals, English as a Second Language classes, teen events and other programs for youth and families. Santa Clarita Emergency Communications Team (SCECT)
</p> <hr/> <p>Comprised of licensed, volunteer, amateur radio operators that offer their time, talents and equipment by supplying emergency communications to the City of Santa Clarita, and partnering agencies. Youth Sports
